The lovely Jan & Brian, finally tied the knot yesterday in the Silverbirch Hotel in Omagh. How lovely it was to have something so nice to look forward to over the past few years and it did not disappoint!
As we have been personal friends for years, I was only happy to help them with their stationery and together we decided on an organic leaf theme, tying in the bridal colours of emerald green and celebrating both the bride's interest in all things botanical and the groom's career as a painter. Using procreate, I created a painted leaf pattern that adorned all parts of their stationery as well as a scripted monogram of their initials. This was paired with a classic vintage serif font and the whole effect was simple, classic, and fun - just like the couple! The invitations were printed on hammered card, adding texture and authenticity to the aesthetic of the suite.
I also had the pleasure of creating some of their on the day items including a seating plan board and table names. Each of Brian & Jan's tables were named after paint colors such as Yellow Ochre, Viridian Green, and Burnt Sienna again in reference to Brian's career. Each name was printed in the colour depicted and lay within the same painted leaf pattern, carried through from the invitations. I am OBSESSED with how they turned out!
I am just delighted for you two. You are soulmates and are perfect for each other. We couldn't have been happier to spend your big day with you both yesterday and thanks for letting me be a small part of it! We love you both and wish you absolutely every happiness for the future!
