MAY 2018, OCTOBER 2018 & JANUARY 2019 // PHUKET, SYDNEY & NEWCASTLE
A tri-continental affair - if you can keep the party going for a year, why would you not??

When Katie and Andrew got engaged, they knew they wanted everyone important their lives to be included. With the groom being from Northern Ireland and the Bride from Australia - where they met and both reside, they decided to throw not just one wedding, but THREE! A private ceremony in Phuket, Thailand, a reception in Sydney, Australia, for their friends and families there and another reception in Newcastle, Co.Down for their loved ones there also.
I had the honour of creating their Save the Dates and Invitations for both their family ceremony and their consequent receptions.
For their Save the Dates they wanted a simple and clean look making it easy for guests to know the score! We decided on a fun calendar style with country cut outs of each island on which they where holding their receptions. We included ceremony details on the back to reassure guests, and enclosed them in beautiful kraft brown envelopes - which were also used with their other stationery pieces we later made.
For their ceremony invitations, I hand drew palm leaves in pencil to give a tropical and textured feel. They also wanted to include a sweet quote at the top to portray the intimacy of the occasion. For the reception invitation, we mirrored the style of the Save the Dates but included further details of each event and changed the orientation. I had the pleasure of attending the reception in Northern Ireland and if the other parties were as enjoyable as that one, well they had one heck of a good year!

To the happy couple, may you constantly enjoy each other and every second of your life together. Have fun, laugh loud and love hard! Best wishes to you both!
